An homage is "a show or demonstration of respect or dedication to someone or something" (Wikipedia) usually a reference to something from the past. An homage is rarely something that "copies" the original. The one I am referring to and about to show you, copied the original perfect to the T but did so in the most original manner and even got the blessing of the original creator. The original ground-braking animation movie by PIXAR "Toy Story" came out in 1985 and almost over night became the inspiration for animation movies to follow.
I think this live action version is beautifully and respectfully done, and will be appreciated by Toy Story lovers everywhere regardless of age.
Enjoy...
